Richard arrives....
TOMORROW morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I am so super excited!!! Seeing him and having him here at Christmas will be the BEST Christmas gift I could ever receive!!!
This is actually the FIRST Christmas we will have spent together EVER!!! We have always been working or somehting has come up that we have had to have an 'early' Christmas celebration together with family and or friends! Last year he came over to N.Ireland 2weeks before Christmas and we my parents put on a mock Christmas day which was so nice for us. Also he had to come over that date because I Graduated from University and he had to be at that! But sadly he had to go back to NJ because he had to work over the holidays! :0(
Well this year should be a GREAT one because we will be together!!! <3
I will make sure to post pics of our Christmas celebrations!

Plus I also have everything wrapped and sitting under the tree!! I went today and got a few little things to add to some peoples gift bags but other than that I have actually had all my Christmas shopping done as of Black Friday!!
I was so happy to have got everything I needed while I was over in NJ!! Thank goodness for Black Friday sales!!! ha-ha!!
I got great gifts for people and I know they will all love them!
Now I am amazed at myself for being so organised!! I never thought I would see the day where I was not running around on Christmas Eve getting peoples gifts!!
I hope everyone else is done and if not GOOD LUCK people!! I went to the mall today and I raced around got what I needed and straight out....it was like a mad house!!

In the booklet I received it had pictures of goats, chickens, cows, ducks and a few other animals....I thought this was awesome!! I would rather teach a man to fish so he can eat for a lifetime with one of these gifts than just send money to the oragnisation! I know the money helps also but to give someone in another country an animal that will provide for them and their family is great!!
I just thought I would share, I know this is not for everyone but its a great idea to pass along!

Jingle Bells....
Is it me or is it not really feeling like Christmas yet??
Maybe its because im getting older but something is missing!!
My friend Gareth and I went into Belfast to the Continental Christmas market and it was so nice to see all the city lit up with the lights and hear the Christmas music. But it still doesnt feel like Christmas is close in coming!!
I miss being a child and getting ready for Christmas!! Aww the memories!

Had the BEST time ever...
Being back in NJ this time I had to say was the BEST trip in a long time!! Im not saying that every other trip has been awful....they have been good also but this trip just ROCKED!!!! :0)
Richard and I just did a whole bunch of fun things. Plus I also got to spend a whole lot of time wit his family and the people he is closest to within his church.
Just a few things that made my time so great...
Richard - well that one was obvious!! haha....we got to spend a lot of time together even with him working his usual days! We were able to be 'normal' the way it used to be. Go on our movie date nights, go get the grocery shopping, do laundry....I know most of that doesnt sounds fun but we enjoy it as long as we do it all together! :0)
We also got to go to Church together which was really good. I met people who knew his Father when he was alive and they joked about Richard and how he was as a child! Then we also went to Richards church where he considered most people members of his own family. It was nice to meet the people from both churches and see how much Richard is loved by so many people!
NYC - Everytime Richard and I go into the city we have a good laugh and this time was no exception! We went to the Charmin restrooms in Times Square and oh boy is that an experience on its own....check out the webpage: http://www.charmin.com/en_US/enjoy-the-go/index.php

Family - Because Richard was working his usual schedule, I spent a lot of time with his sister Tina who is amazing! Awilda, Richards mom who is also amazing...really this woman is the best...I could not have asked for a better mother-in-law!
Also Richards brother Steven who is adorable and his other brother Jun who is not adorable but is a great help with us. He is always willing to help us out when he can and is also very funny...especially when he trys to immitate my accent!! Jun's wife was also there and she is really nice, she loves to have a good laugh which is my book is great!!!
All the family members made me feel so at home this trip and I dont know if it was because it was Thanksgiving or what it was....but this trip I just felt like I was actualy a member of the family! It was so nice to feel that.....they have always included me in family occasions and have always tried to involve me in many events. But this time just felt different.
When I said my good-bye I cried a lot with everyone, which I dont usually do! I mean that in the nicest possible way....but this time I actually couldnt control my tears! :0( Was so sad!
Thanksgiving - I have had Thanksgiving before but this was the first FAMILY thanksgiving of many to come I know! It was a great day, MIL asked me to make a dessert, which was no problem....I made the cookie log! Everyone LOVED the log and of course now every year will be the dish waiting after the main course!! lol
After dinner we played a board game which like any family got very competitive and was so funny!!
Future plans - Richard and I committed to a lot of future plans, which we are very excited about and praying very hard to achieve!
I am sure there were so many more things that made my trip awesome, but these were the main things that spring to mind right now! They also seem the most important out of them all!

Thanksgiving Fun Facts
Over the Years
Though many competing claims exist, the most familiar story of the first Thanksgiving took place in Plymouth Colony, in present-day Massachusetts, in 1621. More than 200 years later, President Abraham Lincoln declared the final Thursday in November as a national day of thanksgiving. Congress finally made Thanksgiving Day an official national holiday in 1941.
Sarah Josepha Hale, the enormously influential magazine editor and author who waged a tireless campaign to make Thanksgiving a national holiday in the mid-19th century, was also the author of the classic nursery rhyme "Mary Had a Little Lamb."
In 2001, the U.S. Postal Service issued a commemorative Thanksgiving stamp. Designed by the artist Margaret Cusack in a style resembling traditional folk-art needlework, it depicted a cornucopia overflowing with fruits and vegetables, under the phrase "We Give Thanks."
On the Roads
Despite record-high gas prices (more than $3.00 per gallon) in 2007, the American Automobile Association (AAA) estimated that 38.7 million Americans would travel 50 miles or more from home for the Thanksgiving holiday, a slight increase (1.5 percent) over the previous year.
Of those Americans traveling for Thanksgiving in 2007, approximately 80 percent (31.2 million) were expected to go by motor vehicle, 12.1 percent (4.7 million) by airplane and the rest (2.8 million) by train, bus or other mode of transportation.
On the Table
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, Minnesota is the top turkey-producing state in America, with a planned production total of 49 million in 2008. Just six states—Minnesota, North Carolina, Arkansas, Virginia, Missouri and Indiana—will probably produce two-thirds of the estimated 271 million birds that will be raised in the U.S. this year.
The National Turkey Federation estimated that 46 million turkeys—one fifth of the annual total of 235 million consumed in the United States in 2007—were eaten at Thanksgiving.
In a survey conducted by the National Turkey Federation, nearly 88 percent of Americans said they eat turkey at Thanksgiving. The average weight of turkeys purchased for Thanksgiving is 15 pounds, which means some 690 million pounds of turkey were consumed in the U.S. during Thanksgiving in 2007.
The cranberry is one of only three fruits—the others are the blueberry and the Concord grape—that are entirely native to North American soil, according to the Cape Cod Cranberry Growers' Association.

I'm back in Ireland!! 
Being in NJ with Richard was amazing. I had such a romantic and exciting time.
We spent every day together and did all the things we used to do......went to the movies, out to dinner, went into the City and spent a lot of time with Family and friends!
Puerto Rico was amazing....such a beautiful place. Planning on going back there soon with Richard.
Being back in NJ was great and gave me the kick in the butt that I need to get everything in order.....for the future.
This should be a good year and I am looking forward to all the plans that Richard and I are making becoming reality.
Well that's the update for now..... and will upload a few pictures soon.

Amazing man in my life!!
Its only 4days now until I fly into New Jersey and oh boy.....I am super excited! I feel like a child at Christmas!!! 
I arrive in on Friday and then I am staying in NJ for a few days......then its off to Puerto Rico for a few days!!! I have the most amazing boyfriend ever!!
I NEVER expected to go to PR or anywhere like it!!!! So I am super excited!!
I will make sure to take loads and loads of pictures!!
Should be a good vacation....NJ/NY and PR all in one trip.....I am such an international Jet Setter!! ha-ha! Love it!!

Surprise!!
Richard will be here on Monday of next week (2ND Feb!!).
I am SO excited!!
He called to say that he wanted to come over here for his one week vacation time! Such a nice surprise as I wasn't expecting him to come over so soon!!
He will then fly home on the 8Th and I fly out on the 13Th!!! Awesome!!!
I cant wait to get a break away from work and just the every day routine!! A change of scenery is just what the doctor ordered! Especially when the scenery is in New York!! (",)

You have the power!
'THE REASON THE SON OF GOD APPEARED WAS TO DESTROY THE DEVIL'S WORK.' 1 JOHN 3:8
Happy Christmas!
Today we celebrate Jesus being born in human flesh. Why did He come? 'To destroy the devil's work.'
You're not expected to beat satan, Jesus already did that 2000 years ago. You're expected to put satan's defeat into action!
Paul tells us in Colossians 2:15 that Jesus publicly embarrassed satan at the cross.
When the American General Douglas McArthur finally confronted the Supreme Commander of the Japanese forces at the end of World War II, he stripped the glittering medals from the Commander's chest, took the sword out of his hand and as the world watched he declared total victory for the allies; and that's what Jesus did for you at the cross.
When He died and rose again He stripped the devil of his power, removed his weapons and declared: 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me' (Matthew 28:18-19 NRS).
So today is not just about a little baby wriggling in a straw-filled water trough. It's a day to recall the whole of that world-changing life and especially the fact that 'God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father' (Philippians 2:9-11 NIV).

It's a day to recall the whole of that world-changing life and especially the fact that 'God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father' (Philippians 2:9-11 NIV).
Through Jesus the battle against evil has been won. Now, for us, the power we need is in the name of Jesus and He has made that power available to you. So don't forget the point of today keep that in mind!

Left my heart in NJ!!
Ahh...
Ever get that feeling that you are in one place but your heart is somewhere else!!
All week I have been thinking about going to NJ for a vaca.....probably around mid February time!! Not sure yet!!
I am kinda really excite about 2009, because Richard and I are hopefully making a few really big decisions!! So I think 2009 is going to be a very memorable year for us!!
Well I need to hurry up and decide when I plan on going out to NJ again and how long for. I don't wan to take a lot of time off work because well I only get 4weeks paid holiday and I ant really afford at the minute to be of without pay!!
I think everyone is in the same boat with me on that one!! 
Well y'all know there will be pics and details of my adventures on here as and when they happen...so watch this space!!
